It’s been a quite a while since I’ve written…due in part to the fact that my passport hasn’t been worked out since July 2009! A record I think for me. I did keep flying though- just domestically. August – December 2009 included trips to Portland, OR, Sonoma, CA, San Fran, D.C. (twice), Kansas City, and Peoria. Not bad! I did however lose my lovely gold status on United, but similar to the movie “Up in the Air” all status really means is that you are never home. If I lost my gold status because I was at home taking care and building of important relationships (and having fun with all the seasonal activities), then I think it was well worth it!
